For the Hong Kong Ultra Race Trail event, Adidas Terrex organized a workshop on indigo blue vat dying. Athletes were thus able to dye a complete head-to-toe set in this traditional blue hue using a more environment-friendly ancestral technique.

Imperfection gives products that extra-special unexpected effect. Here, materials come in a soft, subtly raised pattern, sometimes rubbery or crinkly to the touch. A slubbed fabric or linen add a transparent flammé finish, while canvas rings out in its natural raw form. Soles and accessories are revisited using traditional techniques such as marbling.
