Days are getting shorter. I’m taking advantage of the last hours in the day at the office to take in the fresh air. The atmosphere is damp, there’s a moldy smell, the sun’s rays are warming up my skin. No need to go far from home, climb to the city’s rooftops or wander through the woods. I let my muscles relax and leave the day behind. What light! It feels so good.

Les journées raccourcissent, je profite des dernières heures de jours pour m’évader du bureau et aller faire le plein d’air frais. L’ambiance est humide, ça sent l’humus, les rayons de soleil chauffent ma peau. Pas besoin d’aller loin de chez moi, sur les hauteurs de la ville ou déjà en pleine forêt, je délasse mes muscles et je laisse ma journée de travail derrière moi. Mais quelle lumière! Ca fait du bien …

Getting out, moving about, I now feel warmed up by my surroundings, made of these soft and elegant wools and marked, expressive velvets. My suit vest, with its Sherpa allure, and my loose tartan shirt, go with me for my daily contemplation. This technical, but traditional, wrap is the one I wear when I want to stop and get away, with brushed and fluffy textures and sunny and autumnal tones.

Sortir, bouger, je me sens alors réchauffé par ce qui m’entoure, ces laines douces et élégantes, ces velours marqués et expressifs. Ma “suit vest” aux allures de sherpa, et ma chemise loose tartan, m’accompagnent vers ma contemplation quotidienne. Cette enveloppe technique, mais classique : c’est celle que je porte quand je veux m’arrêter, m’évader, avec des textures grattées et moelleuses, aux tonalités solaires et automnales.
