OUT OF THE SHADOWS
It’s with a mask that I enter the game. I’m playing my biggest role, I am hiding, hiding behind my character. It’s the one I’m wearing to meet the requirements of social conventions, and the demands of society, my team, spectators. It’s the same mask that reveals only what I want to show, that enables me to protect myself, like being in a shell. Why do I wear it? Because, like you, I’m made of contradictions, between what I show and who I really am. I’m made of flaws, doubts and certitudes. I’ve formed who I am around this, and I stand by it. My mask is my way of communicating and, when it falls, you are the one to hold the key that will lead you into my world.
C’est masqué, que je rentre dans le jeu, je joue mon plus grand rôle, je me dissimule, je me cache derrière un personnage. Celui que je porte pour répondre aux exigences des conventions sociales, aux attentes de la société, de mon équipe, des spectateurs. C’est encore lui qui ne révèle que ce que j’ai envie de montrer, qui me permet de me protéger, telle une carapace.
Pourquoi je le porte ? Parce que comme vous, je suis fait de contradiction, entre ce que je montre à voir et ce que je suis. Je suis fait de forces et de failles, de doutes et de certitudes. Je me suis construit autour et j’assume.
Mon masque, c’est mon acte de communication et quand il tombe, vous détenez la clef qui vous conduit à mon monde.

COLOR MOOD
Contrasted ambiguity
The Out of the Shadow range is ambiguous, contradictory and contrasted.
Obscurity-black hides, dissimulates. The greyish-pinkish violet and medium grey hues are ambivalent. Associated with black, they evoke strength and protection; associated with pastels, they speak of intimacy and instincts. The beige and mauve pastels take us out of the shade. These are colours hidden under a mask, a shell. They are soft and luminous. The copper tone finally bursts and reveals our strengths and weaknesses ever so proudly.
La gamme d’Out of the shadow est ambiguë, contradictoire et contrastée. Le noir-obscurité, cache, dissimule. Le violet rosé grisé et le gris moyen sont ambivalents : associé au noir, ils évoquent la force, la protection, associé aux pastels, ils nous parlent d’intime et d’instincts. Les pastels, beiges et parme nous font sortir de l’ombre. Ce sont les couleurs dissimulées sous le masque, la carapace : elles sont douces et lumineuses. Le cuivre éclate enfin et révèle nos forces et nos failles avec fierté.
