We become aware of our flaws and we overplay them. By scratching them, aggravating them, sublimating them. We reform our identity, what we show to see, with gravity and excess. A slightly dystopian fantasy of ourselves that melts and overlaps with reality. So we concentrate our energy to the limit, where the slightest crack leads to the explosion. Brutal. Reckless. Instinctive. We let our emotions shape our creativity and our innermost convictions guide our actions. The response is strong and powerful and does damage. We create a shockwave that blurs the vision of our opponents, that reflects back to them a distorted reflection and that tears down the walls that stand before us.
Nous prenons conscience de nos failles et nous les sur-jouons. En les grattant, les aggravant, les sublimant. Nous réformons notre identité, ce que l’on montre à voir, avec gravité et démesure. Un fantasme un peu dystopique de nous-même qui fond et se superpose à la réalité. Alors nous concentrons notre énergie jusqu’à la limite où la moindre fissure mène à l’explosion. Brutale. Irréfléchie. Instinctive. Nous laissons nos émotions dessiner notre créativité et nos convictions intimes guider nos actes. La riposte est forte, puissante et fait des dégâts. Nous créons une onde de choc qui brouille la vision de nos opposants, qui leur renvoie un reflet déformé et qui déchire les murs qui se dressent devant nous.

Sport mateS + EXPERIENCE
In this creative direction BLASTING FRAGILITY, we will cross 2 experiences.
1/ PERFORMANCE, with the Challenger Mate which represents the community of those who always want more.
The main motivations behind this mate are to progress technically, mentally, to become better. There is a will to confront oneself, but also others. Finally, there is a final ambition to transform one’s body to reach one’s goal.
2/ CLUB, with the Coach Mate who represents the community of those who respect the rules, work on their fundamentals and celebrate the social aspect & sense of belonging of sport.
The motivations of the people behind this Mate are the desire to belong and identify with a group, a place. There is also the desire to learn and to progress, which is common to performance. Finally, there is a notion of image and seduction of a sporting culture that particularly affects them.
3/ The minor Mate that we will bring to spice up this Creative Direction will be the Artistic Mate, which represents the community of those who demonstrate their emotions. And this is where the creative direction BLASTING FRAGILITY appears.
This mate will bring an additional dimension of expression, in the way of expressing who we are with our bodies while not distorting the aspect of progression and technique. It will allow the individual and the group to express themselves through what they have deep inside them, to alternate between individual and collective performance with their emotions as a common thread.
Dans cette direction créative BLASTING FRAGILITY, nous allons croiser 2 expériences.
1/ LA PERFORMANCE, avec le Challenger Mate qui représente la communauté de ceux qui en veulent toujours plus.
Les motivations principales de ce Mate sont de progresser techniquement, mentalement, de devenir meilleur. Il y a une volonté de se confronter à soi-même, mais aussi aux autres. Enfin, il y a une ambition finale de transformer son corps pour atteindre son objectif.
2/ CLUB, avec le Coach Mate qui représente la communauté de ceux qui respectent les règles, travaillent leurs fondamentaux et célèbrent l’aspect social et le sentiment d’appartenance du sport.
Les motivations des personnes derrière ce Mate sont le désir d’appartenance et d’identification à un groupe, à un lieu. Il y a aussi le désir d’apprendre et de progresser, qui est commun à la performance. Enfin, il y a une notion d’image et de séduction d’une culture sportive qui les touche particulièrement.
3/ Le Mate mineur que nous allons apporter pour pimenter cette direction de création sera l’Artistic Mate, qui représente la communauté de ceux qui manifestent leurs émotions. Et c’est là qu’apparaît la direction créative BLASTING FRAGILITY.
Ce compagnon apportera une dimension d’expression supplémentaire, dans la manière d’exprimer ce que l’on est avec son corps tout en ne dénaturant pas l’aspect de la progression et de la technique. Il permet à l’individu et au groupe de s’exprimer à travers ce qu’ils ont au fond d’eux, d’alterner entre performance individuelle et collective avec leurs émotions comme fil conducteur.

In colour
Blasting fragility is a mixture of tones that blend together to scramble and hide in a camouflage spirit. The colour trio made up of khaki, greyish inertia pink and violet is intriguing, mysterious and vibrant. These hues turn into two faces to make an explosive bang of brilliance and reflections. We see stunning, powerful colour contrasts. With no subterfuge, violet brings charisma and energy. The metallic touch is full of movement for a tangible, ever-changing effect. It is a palette full of unexpected changing effects for a full expression of one’s self.
Blasting fragility est un mélange de tons de caractères qui se fondent ensemble pour brouiller, cacher, un effet de camouflage avec un kaki chaud en dominante. Le trio de couleurs Kaki, rose inertie grisé, violet est intrigant, mystérieux, vibrant. Ces teintes se transforment en deux visages pour créer une détonation explosive de brillances et de reflets. On assiste à des contrastes de couleurs saisissants, puissants, sans faux semblants où le violet adrénaline apporte du charisme et de l’énergie. La touche métallisée se travaille en mouvement pour offrir une versatilité tangible, une palette d’effets changeants inattendues pour une pleine expression de soi.
GRAPHIC MOOD
FLUIDE VIBRATION
The rhythmic variation in this graphic design catches our eye. It consists of a repetition that is disturbed by a liquid movement. The motif moves, changes, flows. It makes a play on light and transparent effects. Here, large-scale vibration is boldly expressed so as to create visibility and assert itself at the same time. Variations in a placed print and in a woven print version add a complementary reminder that highlights the elements of rhythm and flow..
La variation rythmique de ce graphisme accroche notre œil.
Il est composé d’une répétition perturbée par un mouvement fluide, liquide, ce motif joue avec la lumière
et les effets de transparences.
Ici, on ose la vibration à grande
échelle afin de créer de la visibilité
et s’affirmer pleinement par la même occasion.
Les déclinaisons en print placé et en version tramée permettent un rappel complémentaire mettant en avant les éléments de rythme et fluidité.
COMPONENT MOOD
From “shine to hide” to “recycled technicity”
Confronted with the demands of our society, we hide our fragile side behind a mask. We wear shiny, satiny materials. They allow me to hide my true nature.
We have selected, in Concept 1, elements that are slippery to the touch as well as lacquered aspects for sports equipment, sending out a mirage of perfect formance. Chlorine-resistant jersey reflects brilliance just like that of the cyclist’s attire. Such a flowing sensation, with satiny reflections, makes me feel like I’m not revealing a single flaw.
Then, it is through a flaw that an emotion can arise, revealing to myself who I am.
It brings us to Concept 2. From now on, I assume my weaknesses as much as my strengths.
I welcome the dusty and contaminated aspect of new recycled surfaces.
The transformation of our industrial waste into technical materials offers me imperfect surfaces, bringing a unique character to my attire. I make a play on irregularity to assume my personal identity. The noisy aspect of these surfaces accompany and highlight the technicity of my sports gear. I am seeking the beauty of raw steel, brushed metal as it is the case for the flecked effect of recycled plastic. The scrambled and irregular aesthetics of recycled materials tell us the story of new performance for our materials, without in any way being detrimental to their technicity.
These aspects speak to us of their production process and remind us of where the raw materials come from. Here, the past life of the used product is enhanced visually due to its metamorphosis into a new material.
An alliance of the ultra-shiny aspects of “shine to hide” and dusty textures of Concept 2 take us to a new history of performance, that of recycled technicity.
Confronté aux exigences de notre société, je dissimule mes fragilités derrière un masque. Je porte des matières brillantes, satinées. Elles me permettent de cacher ma vraie nature.
On sélectionne dans le concept n1 des touchers glissants et des aspects laqués pour le matériel sportif, renvoyant le mirage d’une performance parfaite. Le jersey résistant au chlore renvoie une brillance tout comme celui constituant la tenue du cycliste. Cette fluidité au reflet satiné me donne l’impression de ne dévoiler aucun défaut.
Puis, c’est à travers une faille que s’infiltre une émotion qui me révèle à moi-même.
Cela nous amène vers le concept n2. Désormais, j’assume autant mes faiblesses que mes forces. J’accueille l’aspect poussiéreux et contaminé des nouvelles surfaces recyclées.
La transformation de nos déchets industriels en matière techniques m’offre des surfaces imparfaites, apportant un caractère singulier à ma tenue. Je joue de ces irrégularités pour assumer une identité personnelle. L’aspect bruyant de ces surfaces, accompagne et souligne la technicité de mon matériel sportif. Je recherche la beauté de l’acier brut, du métal brossé tout comme le moucheté d’un plastique recyclé. L’esthétique brouillée et irrégulière des matières recyclées nous raconte la nouvelle performance de nos matériaux et n’entache en rien leur technicité.
Ces aspects nous parlent du process de fabrication et nous rappellent la provenance des matières premières. Ici, la vie passée du produit usagé est valorisée visuellement grâce à sa métamorphose en une nouvelle matière.
Le mariage des aspects ultra-brillants du “shine to hide” et des textures poussiéreuses du concept n2 nous amènent vers une nouvelle histoire de la performance, celle de la technicité recyclée.
