PRODIGAL HUMILITY

For too long we have been off the ground, looking down on Nature. She now makes us land, touch the ground with our bare feet and makes us feel her original roughness. It pushes us to humility, to sobriety, to the adaptability that we had forgotten. She embraces our creations, our monsters, our industry, the scars we have inflicted on her. She forces us to embrace her back for what she is, stronger than us. So we celebrate her, we let her conquer us, damage us, sustain us, through our senses and on our bodies. We welcome its teachings, interpret them, sacralize them, ritualize them, as before. And we will write the future together, day after day.

Nous avons été trop longtemps hors-sol, à regarder la Nature de haut. Elle nous fait désormais atterrir, retoucher le sol de nos pieds nus et nous fait ressentir sa rudesse originelle. Elle nous pousse à l’humilité, à la sobriété, à l’adaptabilité que nous avions oubliée. Elle embrasse nos créations, nos monstres, notre industrie, les balafres que nous lui avons infligées. Elle nous force à l’embrasser en retour pour ce qu’elle est, à savoir plus forte que nous. Alors nous la célébrons, nous la laissons nous conquérir, nous abimer, nous soutenir, au travers de nos sens et sur nos corps. Nous accueillons ses enseignements authentiques, les interprétons, les sacralisons, les ritualisons, comme avant. Et nous allons écrire le futur ensemble, jour après jour.

Sport mateS + EXPERIENCE

In this creative direction PRODIGAL HUMILITY, we cross 2 experiences.

1/ Outdoor & Adventure, with the Soul Mate which represents the community of those who enjoy the nature quietly. The main motivations behind this mate are to be a privileged observer of nature and to see it evolve. There is also a notion of physical and mental rebalancing, to feel good in contact with the elements. Finally, a motivation of transmission, awareness, to give to see and to make understand by the example in particular towards the younger generations.

2/ The second experience is Sportswear & lifestyle, with the Initial Mate representing the community of those for whom life is a sport, pragmatic and all-rounders, who use the attributes of sports products to embrace the culture attached to them.
Behind this Mate there is a desire to belong to a community, to a culture that is bigger than sport and that can be found in the street. A notion of image, relaxed, comfortable that we send back to those who look at us.Associated with this image of comfort, there is also a motivation to seek technicality and practicality, sporting attributes that allow us to perform well on the field as well as in everyday life.

3/ The minor Mate that we will bring to spice up this Creative Direction will be the Natural Mate, which represents the community of those for whom nature is their natural and daily habitat. And this is where the PRODIGAL HUMILITY creative direction comes in. This mate will bring a dimension of contact and respect for Nature that is superior and obvious. With an ambition of performance versus the elements, considering daily life as an adventure whatever the environment of life. Finally, there is a notion of life hygiene, of maintenance of the body-machine to be able to rock in any circumstance.

Dans cette direction créative PRODIGAL HUMILITY, nous croisons 2 expériences.

1/ Outdoor & Adventure, avec le Soul Mate qui représente la communauté de ceux qui apprécient la nature en toute quiétude. Les motivations principales derrière ce Mate sont d’être un observateur privilégié de la nature et de la voir évoluer. Il y a aussi une notion de rééquilibrage physique et mental, de se sentir bien au contact des éléments. Enfin, une motivation de transmission, de sensibilisation, de donner à voir et de faire comprendre par l’exemple notamment auprès des jeunes générations.

2/ La seconde expérience est Sportswear & lifestyle, avec l’Initial Mate qui représente la communauté de ceux pour qui la vie est un sport, pragmatiques et polyvalents, qui utilisent les attributs des produits sportifs pour embrasser la culture qui leur est attachée. Derrière ce Mate, il y a le désir d’appartenir à une communauté, à une culture qui dépasse le sport et que l’on retrouve dans la rue. Associée à cette image de confort, il y a aussi une motivation à rechercher la technicité et la praticité des attributs sportifs qui permettent d’être performant sur le terrain comme dans la vie de tous les jours.

3/ Le Mate mineur que nous apporterons pour pimenter cette Direction Créative sera le Natural Mate, qui représente la communauté de ceux pour qui la nature est leur habitat naturel et quotidien. Et c’est là qu’apparaît la direction créative PRODIGAL HUMILITY. Ce Mate apportera une dimension de contact et de respect de la Nature supérieure et évidente. Avec une ambition de performance face aux éléments, considérant le quotidien comme une aventure quel que soit l’environnement de vie. Enfin, il y a une notion d’hygiène de vie, d’entretien du corps-machine pour pouvoir assurer en toute circonstance.

Sensory regenerative

We get re-accustomed to natural elements. We ever so humbly start afresh with cold and greyish tones. A mineral and authentic green duo is contrasted to give strength to the powers of nature. Sensual appeal is felt in our emotions and bodies. We re-energize with a greenish yellow tone. We calm down and make peace with a technical urban blue that allows us to imagine a regenerating future together.

On se réacclimate aux éléments naturels, on se reconstruit en toute humilité avec des teintes froides et grisées. Un duo de verts minéral et authentique se contrastent pour donner force aux pouvoirs de la nature. On retrouve de la sensorialité dans nos émotions jusqu’à le ressentir dans nos corps, un jaune verdit nous invitent à nous revitaliser. On s’apaise, on se réconcilie avec un bleu urbain technique qui nous amène à imaginer un futur ensemble régénérateur.

COMPONENT MOOD

From“ natural imprint” to“sobre touch”.

Here, the materials project us into an outdoor world, in direct contact with nature. The feels are both “ natural imprint” and “sober touch”. We find in Concept 1 natural imprints in the material owing to the jacquard weaves and knits. The motifs are abstract and random, irregular to the touch. This series of materials with a pronounced character speaks of the force and riches of nature. To sublimate such generous textures, we combine them with discreet components ever so sober to the touch. Concept 2, “sober surface” opposes this with a sensory nature due to its smooth and calm aspects. The visuals here are silent, as our materials, ever so humbly, are discreet. The matte or velvety aspects are timeless and the rubbery touches are easy to clean. Here, I’m not afraid of getting dirty. I’m dressed to face the outdoors. The mixture of rich, unique textures with a sober touch helps me go, ever so easily, from my urban daily life to new outdoor adventures.

Ici, les matières nous plongent dans un univers outdoor, en contact direct avec la nature. Les touchers sont à la fois “ natural imprint” et “sobre touch”. On retrouve dans le concept n1 des empreintes naturelles inscrites dans la matière grâce aux mailles et aux tissages jacquards. Les motifs texturés sont abstraits, les aspects aléatoires et les touchers irréguliers. Cette série de matières au caractère marqué, nous parle de la force et de la richesse de la nature. Pour sublimer ces textures généreuses, on les associe à des composants discrets au toucher plus sobre. Le concept n2, “sobre surface”, prend le contre pied sensoriel grâce à des aspects lisses et calmes. Les visuels sont ici silencieux car nos matières, tout en humilité, se font discrètes. Les aspects mates ou veloutés sont intemporels et les touchers gommeux sont faciles à nettoyer. Ici, je n’ai pas peur de me salir, je suis paré pour affronter l’extérieur. Le mélange des textures riches, singulières et des touchers plus sobres me permet de passer en toute fluidité d’un quotidien urbain à de nouvelles aventures outdoor.
